The Northridge™ E Series EC25 center channel loudspeaker was custom-designed to superbly reproduce the human voice. Many movie soundtracks consist mainly of dialogue, so that the center speaker shoulders the burden of filling a home theater. The EC25 easily handles the job. And it's video-shielded, so it can be placed on top of a television. The EC25 performs like a pro, with technology developed by JBL’s Professional division. Equipped with JBL's titanium-laminate tweeters and dual PolyPlas™ woofers, the speaker reproduces the high notes with extreme clarity. The lows and mids, assisted by the FreeFlow™ flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. The Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS)™ wave guide ensures that every seat is the best seat in the house for intelligible dialogue.
